IRIS Software Gains Accreditation from the Association of Project Managers

APM Group Accreditation

The IRIS Risk Management software has become a tool approved by the Association of Project Managers as supporting the OGC Business Change Guidance covering Programme Management, Project Management and Risk Management. The software was reviewed by the APM Group in January 2006 and passed the assessment at the first attempt.

In addition to gaining accreditation for the OGC guidelines, the APM Group assessor confirmed that IRIS is fully compliant with the PRINCE2 Methodology.

Michael Bond, who led the development of the web-based version of IRIS commented, "I am delighted that IRIS has been recognised once again. I think the reason for its success is that the tool is designed based on a coherent methodology that has stood the test of time for over two decades. Too many software products focus on what the technology can do thus becoming too complex and losing focus – we always focus on the process and methodology, using technology as a means to embed good practice"
